Student Kenneth Sng had S'poreans' curiosity -- and now has PM Lee's attention

Singapore student Kenneth Sng has been receiving quite the attention after delivering an eloquent opening speech at the second US presidential debate on Sunday, Oct 9. 

Not to mention, the final-year student and elected president of Washington's University's Student Union has also caught the eye of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. 

A day after Kenneth made history with his unforgettable opening remarks, PM Lee took to his Facebook page to commend Kenneth Sng, saying:

"Proud to see Singapore student Kenneth Sng making the opening remarks at the 2nd US Presidential #Debate." 

PM Lee then mentioned that Kenneth is also a Jurong Junior College alumnus and Singapore Public Service Commission scholar, and was glad that the student union president mentioned “Singapore, my home”, in his remarks.

Well done, Kenneth! You have done Singapore proud.
