Woman cuts into 'lucky tempeh' and finds $1 coin

Stomper Akai's mother bought packets of tempeh (fermented soybeans) at the wet market at Tampines Street 81 that contained a surprise ingredient.

Inside one of the tempeh was a $1 coin.

Akai said his mother had bought it this morning (Feb 11) and is a regular customer of the stall.

She did not bother to complain and called this 'lucky tempeh'.

Joked Akai:

"I told her give me the next tempeh. I want to cut it and hopefully there's $50."
