Restaurant employee pushes rubbish into passenger lift at Downtown East

Stomper Kenny was at Downtown East to dine with his family when he saw a restaurant employee push a trolley loaded with garbage into a passenger lift yesterday (May 5).

The sight shocked and disgusted Kenny who believes that passenger lifts should not be used for this function and that if restaurants in the building want to dispose of rubbish, they should use the cargo lift.

"Downtown East is a place for families to dine and eat during our weekend!" he exclaimed.

"I was shocked and disgusted to see this restaurant' employee push the garbage into the passenger lift.

"I have seen dirty stains on the floor before.

"A few times the staff will push in the garbage even when there are other people in the lift.

"I cannot tolerance such nonsense."
