Heartbreaking video shows dog confined to a small cage and being hit by woman

Stompers Eileen, Rachel, He, Eling and Shujuan alerted Stomp to a heartbreaking video that has been circulating online of a dog being hit by a woman. 

In the video, a woman can be seen gesturing threateningly at a Papillon that has been confined to a small cage. She even hits the dog once on the head before placing a white bowl in the cage.

The video, which was posted on the Chained Dog Awareness in Singapore Facebook page, has received more than 13,000 views since it was uploaded yesterday (Feb 8) and drawn many heated reactions among netizens.  

One netizen said, "This is cruelty. The cage is too small and hot for a dog to live in."
