Drama at Bangkit Rd condo, thanks to unattended cooking

Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel were seen to a case of unattended cooking at Chestervale Condominium at around 5.47pm yesterday (May 12).

Stomper Bangkit forwarded a clip of the incident, filmed by his mother-in-law, to Stomp.

An SCDF spokesperson told Stomp that they were alerted to the incident at around 5.47pm at 41 Bangkit Road.

"We dispatched two fire engines, one red rhino, two fire bikes and one support vehicle.

"It was a case of unattended cooking and SCDF personnel turned of the gas in the apartment.

"No one was injured."
