95-year-old woman found dead at foot of Block 55 Lengkok Bahru

A 95-year-old woman was found dead at the foot of Block 55 Lengkok Bahru yesterday afternoon (Mar 23).

Stomper Abu, who took photos showing police officers and a death tent at the scene, said he was in the area when he heard a loud bang.

He said, "I was walking towards the lift and while in the lift, I heard a loud bang. I was shocked when I got out from the lift and saw the body."

In response to media queries, a spokesperson for the Police said they were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 3.19pm.

"A 95-year-old woman was found motionless and was pronounced dead by paramedics at scene," added the spokesperson.

Police investigations are ongoing.
