Yishun auntie who drove neighbour to build 'wall' creates racket in kitchen -- despite having just been arrested

Residents at Blk 112, Yishun Ring Road are once again, have difficult days ahead, as their elderly neighbour is back to harass them again, deliberately creating a racket in her kitchen — despite having just been arrested by the police last Saturday (May 27).

The 63-year-old sunglass-wearing auntie, for two years, had been splashing various substances on the corridors of residents, including dark sauce, oil and even urine, reports Lianhe Wanbao via Lianhe Zaobao

The constant harassment drove a resident to put up a ‘wall’ although this was taken down under the orders of theNee Soon Town Council, as it was a fire safety hazard.

The auntie was arrested for the offence of public nuisance last Saturday (May 27) along Yishun Central, but upon returning home, reverted to her old habits.

A 40-year-old resident on the 4th storey told reporters that she had ran into the auntie and her daughter last Sunday (May 28) and the two had glared at her.

On the dawn of Tuesday (May 30), the auntie started creating a racket, using a hammer to hit the floorboard of her kitchen.

The resident who lived in the unit directly below the auntie was jolted awake.

When reporters visited auntie's flat, no one answered the door, but a racket started inside the unit at around 10am.

Reporters noted that the sound was indeed quite loud, and had initially thought that it was coming from a construction site.
