Stomper Erica wants to salute the motorcyclists who stopped to help divert traffic after an accident involving a van, a car and motorcycle at Seletar West Link towards the Central Expressway (CTE) on Oct 17.

In response to media queries, a police spokesman told Stomp that a 29-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). Police investigations are ongoing.

Erica was driving when she came across the scene at around 11pm.

"Initially, I thought it was a random Traffic Police (TP) roadblock as there was a TP car and a few TP bikes there.

"However, when I looked closer, the bikes belonged to members of Team Diversion Singapore (printed on the back of their T-shirts) who were trying to help.

"The traffic was really congested on the three lanes but what amazes me is that most of the riders were seen diverting traffic and one of them was rendering first aid to one of the injured.

"As much as I feel sorry for those who were hurt, I am pretty proud at how this team has proven that kindness does exist and humanity is restored. Salute to you guys."
