Woman in China seriously injured after getting hit on head by falling dog

A woman in Guangzhou, China, was seriously injured on Sunday (April 22) after getting hit on the head by a dog that fell down a building.

A video of the incident, taken from a surveillance camera shows the woman getting struck on the head as a white dog falls from above.

The impact momentarily stuns her and she falls to the ground, unconscious. 

The dog, on the other hand, walks away, seemingly unscathed. 

Another woman carrying a child is seen walking next to the victim. 

She tried to wake the victim up but to no avail.

According to The Star and South China Morning Post, the woman was taken to a hospital and treated for serious injuries. 

It is unclear how the dog had fallen, and police investigations are ongoing.
