Woman concerned with stench from canal at Upper Changi Rd

The canal beside Stomper Peony’s workplace at Upper Changi Road has been smelling bad since four weeks ago.

Peony told Stomp in a phone interview that there appears to be something hindering the flow of water, and there is now a pungent stench.

Said Peony:

“Previously the drain is very nice and full of water. There was also no smell.

“Now it smells very bad all day.  

“Now, my colleagues and I have to endure the stench every morning when we go to work and even when we leave office.”
