What happened? Man escorted out of train by SMRT staff

Stomper Joanne was shocked to find a man sprawled on the seats of an MRT train on Oct 10.

She had boarded the train at Aljunied going towards Pasir Ris when she saw him.

"I don't know where he came from," she said.

"People looked uneasy and were avoiding him."

When the train arrived at Tampines MRT Station at around 11pm, Joanne saw two SMRT staff try to get the man to exit the train.

She took a video showing them pulling the man up as he had trouble standing.

One of the staffers was carrying one of the man's shoes and his bag.

Stomp has reached out to SMRT but they have no comment on the matter.
