What happened? Driver stops in the middle of Punggol Road before getting checked by paramedics

Stomper Chung was travelling along Punggol Road at 12.08am on Oct 13 when she saw that a car had stopped in the middle of the road.

In the video, the stationary car can be seen in the middle lane of the road despite the fact that there are no cars in front and the traffic light had already turned green.

The Stomper wrote:

"Worried about this car stop in the middle of the road... at Punggol road."

It is unclear what caused the driver to stop in the middle of the road.

From the video, it can also be seen that paramedics arrived shortly after to tend to the driver.

The paramedics then went back to the ambulance and the car drove off, according to Chung.

She added, "(I am still) concerned that he can't drive as he may be drunk. (I'm) just hoping he will reach home safely."
