Wah accident again? Collision between 2 cars at junction of Yio Chu Kang flyover

Stomper Grace was traveling along the Yio Chu Kang flyover (above Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3) at around 8pm yesterday (Dec 22) when she drove past the scene of an accident between two cars.

And according to Grace who has been using this junction for close to two years now, she has seen about four accidents taking place at the same junction.

Said the Stomper:

"I'm not too sure about what happened during the accident, but I too was close to encountering an accident at the exact same spot sometime back.

"There was a car making a right turn into Hougang Avenue 2, and I was headed straight. He cut me off and I had to jam the breaks in time, or I would have probably ended up in the same plight.

"In short this junction is dangerous as its very easy for the car turning right to miss the oncoming car which is heading straight, so i hope for drivers in the area to be more alert and careful when using the junction."
