Heart-pounding video shows firefighters battle blaze from burning car at Boon Keng carpark

Stomper Song saw a car on fire near Upper Boon Keng Market and Food Centre on Tuesday (May 3) at around 2pm.

In a video the Stomper sent, personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) can be seen trying to put out the fire with water hoses and fire extinguishers.

Said the Stomper with regards to what he saw:

"The food centre cleaners tried putting out the fire but they failed.

"The SCDF then came down.

"I saw four Red Rhinos and a fire engine at the scene. There were also around 10 firemen.

"The car was still there today (May 5). I do not know if the owner is aware of what happened.
