Toyota driver recklessly changes lanes -- forcing motorist to go onto pavement

A motorist was forced to go onto the pavement to avoid a car driver who recklessly changed lanes along Sengkang West Avenue.

In a video of what happened posted on ROADS.sg, the driver who recorded the incident can first be seen driving on the third lane of the three-lane road.

After going past a traffic junction, a Toyota Rush with a licence reading SJL8174Y suddenly cut into the lane the driver was on.

In response, the driver swerved the car left onto the pavement at a pedestrian crossing to avoid an accident.

He or she then reversed back onto the road and drove off.
