Taxis taking up lots allocated for private vehicles cause traffic mayhem at Clementi MRT Station, says Stomper

The traffic has been hectic at Clementi MRT Station, close to Vibes Shopping Centre, during the peak hours for the past two months. 

Stomper Chai Kun said that cabs would be forced to take up the spaces allocated for private vehicles  due to busy traffic. 

This left private buses and cars with no choice but to pick up and drop off pedestrians along the main road. 

The action in turn, resulted in a bottleneck and greater risks to pedestrians.

Said Chai Kun:

"Despite numerous complaints made to the Land Transport Authorities (LTA), there have been no actions taken and this has been a problem for the past 2 months."
