Stomper Eric was driving along the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) on Oct 2 when another car swerved into his lane, scraping against his vehicle.

The incident happened along the KPE towards East Coast Parkway (ECP) before the Tampines Road exit at around 1.55pm.

Dashcam footage from Eric shows a grey car that recklessly changed two lanes by swerving into the right lane.

The car scraped against the Stomper's vehicle and then sped off.

In a telephone interview with Stomp, Eric said, "It was so close. If I didn't use the emergency brake, something terrible would have happened. The driver is also so inconsiderate, he didn't check whether I was okay or not and just immediately sped off."

Eric emerged from the accident unscathed, but the same cannot be said for his car which was scratched badly.

His wife later told Stomp that repairs will cost over $450.
