S'pore woman shares heartwarming friendship she and family forged with foreign workers in her neighbourhood

Netizens are loving a post shared by user Kerry Cheah about a group of contractors who had beed working in her neighbourhood for over a year.

She shared how she will miss them now that hey are done and moving to Woodlands for another projects.

She also wrote about how her kids got used to seeing them on their way to school and how they would tease her sons with, 'Boss! Where you going boss?' when they edged too near their working equipment.

She wrote:

"It doesn’t take much to smile at the workers in your neighbourhood and ask them how they’re doing. And yes, totally selfishly, it does feel nice to be greeted with a simple wave or smile every day - it goes both ways!"
