S'pore Merc driver damages motorist's car door in Malaysia, does not turn up at police station

The driver of a Singapore-registered Mercedes accidentally hit another car while reversing along a road in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The incident took place at Jalan Pahlawan 1, Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, at around 10.30am on Sep 19.

Stomper Tze's said her father's car was the one that got damaged in the accident. She is trying to reach out to the driver of the Mercedes and is appealing for him to take responsibility.

She told Stomp: "SKQ2127K clashed with my dad's car door (driver seat) when SKQ2127K was trying to reverse his car.

"The driver (guy in blue checkered shirt) came down to inspect the damage.

"He promised to make a report at a police station in Malaysia to claim his car insurance, but he did not appear even though we waited for the whole day there.

"Please spread the news for so that everyone sees his car plate, SKQ2127K.

"Please inform him we are still waiting for his response and for him to be a responsible person. Thank you."
