Woman run over by own car in Malaysia after she tried to stop it from rolling backwards

A woman was killed in New Salak South Village in Malaysia after she was crushed as she was trying to prevent her car from rolling backwards on Aug 6.

According to The Star, the woman has been identified as a 40-year-old named Goo Guan Yen.

Rescue personnel managed to retrieve her body from underneath her car by she died soon after. 

City Fire and Rescue Department's chief operations officer, Samsol Maarif Saibani, said investigations indicated that Goo was trying to stop her car from rolling backwards and was run over by the vehicle.
