Ofo bicycles are currently free for use, but it seems like a resident took the word 'free' too liberally.

Stomper Bo Than was at Toa Payoh Lorong 6 yesterday evening (Apr 12) when he spotted a white bicycle parked under the pedestrian bridge linking Toa Payoh bus interchange and Toa Payoh Park. Upon closer inspection, Bo Than realised that the bicycle was an ofo bike that had been painted white.

In the photos the Stomper contributed, the ofo logo can be clearly seen emblazoned on the bicycle seat and frame. The ofo bicycle is also missing its lock, and the 'owner' took the liberty of locking it up himself.

Said the Stomper:

"Maybe the owner does not know that the bicycle is for public use and claimed it for himself.

"I sent the photos to ofo and I expected them to go there and bring the bicycle to their workshop.

"But they are not responding to my message."

This is not the first case of ofo bicycles being abused. Check out the other cases that Stomp has been alerted to.
