A seemingly innocuous video of a 21-month-old baby Singaporean baby, Heather Serna, with a full head of flowing hair online has upset many Singaporeans.
This is because the post, or more specifically its accompanying caption by the New York Post, effectively mistook Singapore to be part of China.
The caption read:
“This 21-month-old from China has some serious flow.”
Naturally, Singaporeans did not take kindly to the mistake, and many have voiced their frustrations online.
Said a netizen:
“Singapore is not part of China.
“Not sure if that is racism or you genuinely just do not care?”
What about you? How do you feel about the post?
