Traffic enforcer 'sniping' speeding vehicles at Punggol? Nope, it’s a smoke camera

Stomper Martin alerted Stomp to a screenshot of a Facebook post that he received on WhatsApp, showing a man holding a camera and standing by the roadside.

The post was captioned “Drivers beware!!! Happening in Punggol.” and was originally posted on Feb 28.

At first glance, it appears to be a traffic enforcer ‘sniping’ speeding cars with a speed camera.

However, many Facebook users pointed out that it was a smoke camera, used to monitor vehicles’ smoke emissions on the road.
