This Twitter account tells you exactly where it's raining in Singapore right now

Before you step out of the house, check this Twitter account to see if you need an umbrella or not.

The @SGRaincloud Twitter account is a bot created by coder Ning Yuan. By retrieving data from the Meteorological Service Singapore, it posts a picture of where exactly it's raining in Singapore right now.

The bot posts a new picture every 5 minutes, and while this is useful for live updates, it can also lead to spam on your Twitter timeline. As such, the creator has suggested that instead of following the bot, you can direct message the bot once. Then, whenever you need to check the weather, go to your conversations tab and click on the bot's profile picture to get you to the page.

In the monsoon season we are currently experiencing, I predict that this Twitter bot will be your new best friend.
