Stomp Team blown away by 'karaoke girl' with beautiful voice -- and only realises her true identity later

A mysterious woman stole the show with her powerful vocals at Club July, a restaurant-bar in Toa Payoh North on Oct 14.

She sang a rendition of 'Skinny Love' by English singer Birdy, a song that is notoriously hard to perform.

When she finished the song, patrons at the restaurant broke into applause and asked for an encore -- all of which were witnessed by the Stomp Team, who had been dining there.

We were just as impressed by this talented beauty, whom we later identified as Miss Universe Singapore 2016 finalist Shanice Hedger.

We had put two and two together after watching ONE FM 91.3's Facebook live coverage of the pageant's bikini segment.
