"This guy is taking such a risk riding an electric rider on a busy road with no helmet!" she exclaimed.

E-scooters are currently not regulated, unlike motorised bicycles.

According to LTA regulations, bicycles and electric bicycles are allowed on the road, while kick-scooters and electric scooters are not.

Riders caught using unauthorised vehicles on public roads are liable, on conviction, to a fine of up to $2,000 or a jail term of up to three months for the first offence.
