Parents brave the haze at Bishan CC for up to 2 hours to grab toys for their beloved children

Stomper Leong saw a long line of people queuing at an open area at Bishan Community Centre yesterday (Aug 26) despite the haze.

They were queuing for a toy sale that was taking place inside a hall.

Staff at the community centre were distributing masks to the people who were patiently waiting for their turn to enter.

Said Leong in a WhatsApp message:

"Being a parent means making sacrifices for the children.

"The haze did not stop parents from queuing for almost two hours to enter the all and grabs as many toys as possible for their loved ones.

"It was also nice of the Bishan CC staff to hand out masks for the people outside queueing."
