Office staff stranded and vehicles stuck after flood along Enterprise Road in Jurong

A heavy downpour caused flooding along Enterprise Road and Wan Lee Road in Jurong yesterday afternoon (Jun 17).

Stomper Glenda contributed photos showing the flood and recounted how both people as well as vehicles were left stranded as a result.

She said:

"Heavy rain from 2pm till 6pm plus caused a flood along Enterprise Road and Wan Lee Road.

"Many lorries, trucks, cars were stuck or stalled due to the almost knee-length water level.

"Our company was heavily flooded and we couldn't& leave the office until afterwards.

"Fire engine, ambulance and police were seen controlling the traffic and withdrawing the water from the ground to ease the traffic for buses to come in."
