Stomper TH was driving along the Pan Island Expressway this morning (Apr 3) when he witnessed the aftermath of two accidents, around 200 metres apart.

In the photos TH contributed of the first accident involving a lorry, a silver lorry on the leftmost lane can be seen lying on its side. A spokesperson from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police told Stomp that no one was injured.

According to the Stomper, there was also a vehicle chain collision a short distance away. According to the SCDF and police, four people, including a 42-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, were conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital

Both accidents occurred before the Jalan Bahar exit.

Said the Stomper:

"Two lanes were closed and there was a traffic jam.

"The cars involved in the chain collision -- which was around 200m away from the lorry -- must have been slowing down to look at the unfortunate lorry, and caused the collision."
