Man auctions electric eel starting from $1 on Facebook -- but isn't it dangerous?

Stomper Chin alerted Stomp yesterday evening (Feb 26) to a Facebook post of a man auctioning an electric eel from $1.
Posted on a closed Facebook group called 'SG Happy Buyer Happier Seller Happiest Fish Keeper', the eel seller named Desmond can be seen auctioning a 15cm-long electric eel at $5 increments.
The Stomper said:
"Wow, now electric eel also can sell!
"What if young kids buy it and get injured? What if it gets released into the reservoir?
"Is this person even allowed to just sell without a license?"
Stomp has reached out to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) for more information.
