Stomper Peter was driving along North Bridge Road today (Oct 20) at around 11am when he spotted the driver of a white Lexus talking into his handphone while driving.

The incident occurred at the area between Parkview Square and Raffles Hospital.

The white Lexus driver was using his handphone while driving the car and the Stomper took these photos  when they were both idling at the traffic light.

"He continued to talk while he stopped at the traffic light and as he moved off towards Raffles City," the Stomper said.

It is illegal for drivers to hold any type of mobile device while driving and first-time offenders can be fined up to $1,000 and/or jailed for up to six months.
