The recent spate of monkey attacks at Segar Road in Bukit Panjang is no joking matter, and steps are being taken to ensure that no one else gets hurt.

Stomper Kesavan spotted a group of people teaming up in an attempt to catch a "troublesome" monkey at Block 469 Segar Road this morning (Apr 20) at around 9am.

Two videos that he filmed show staff from the Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES) at the scene with various equipment.

The Stomp Team is also currently at the location.

Last week, Stomp received at least five reports of monkeys wrecking havoc in the area, some of which saw people left with injuries after being attacked.

We also visited some residents who have been affected by the animals to hear more about their experiences.
