When news of the fatal Uber accident that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Ms Goh Pei Ling broke out, many took to social media to express their grief.
Among the heartbreaking tweets by those who knew Ms Goh, tweets from Ms Goh’s brother, sister-in-law, and a boyfriend were undeniably the most tear-jerking ones.
Two days after the tragic incident, Ms Goh’s boyfriend tweeted: “Today marks our 800th day together if you (Ms Goh) haven't realized yet.”
Ms Goh’s sister-in-law, Ms Chan, 20, who is around 6 months pregnant and suffered injuries from the accident, has also taken to Twitter to pour her heart out.
“Sorry I can't be there to attend your wake, but you know my heart is always with you and I believe you're always with me.” Ms Chan tweeted.
Ms Goh’s brother wrote a sentimental post on Instagram with the caption: “Sorry that I failed to be your brother and I didn't cherish u well. As my next life I hope to be your brother again . You always will be my best sister in my heart."
