Got 10 cents to spare? Help this friendly uncle who sells eggs at Bukit Batok for a living

A post appealing for people to help an elderly man who sells eggs at Block 374, Bukit Batok Street 31 for a living has gone viral online.

According to the Facebook post made by user Afyque Salleh which Stomper Alastair alerted Stomp to, the uncle sells eggs for 10 cents each and refuses any tips.

Describing the man as friendly and 'forever smiling', Salleh asked for people to help him and spread the word about his plight.

The post has since garnered more than 7,000 shares ever since it was uploaded on Oct 14.

For those who plan to drop by the stall, do note that its operating hours are from 8am to 12noon.
