A Stomper came across a group of men causing a ruckus at an open communal area yesterday (Apr 9) on the fourth storey of Block 34 in Upper Cross Street.

In a WhatsApp message and telephone interview, the Stomper said that four men were consuming alcohol, eating and making noise from 1pm to 5pm.

He also told Stomp that the men left the beer bottles and food packets around the table and seats they utilised after they left. A cleaner had to clear up the rubbish thereafter.

Said the Stomper:

"Two of the men appeared to be drunk.

"This is not the first time this is happening. There will be people gathering there and making noise every Sunday."

A video sent by the Stomper shows the men sitting around a table with beer bottles and Styrofoam food packets.

Another video shows two men resting their heads on the table with trash all around them. It is unclear why they did not leave with their companions.

There were also empty bottles and a fruit juice packet on the ground.
