Four sent to hospital after accident involving three taxis along Airport Boulevard

Stomper Andey was passing by Airport Boulevard this afternoon (Mar 9) when he witnessed the aftermath of an accident involving three cars.

From the video that Andey sent to Stomp, three cars can be seen along the first lane of Airport Boulevard, in the direction of the city.

One of them, a red taxi, has its car boot door open. Its hood also appears slightly disfigured.

Five people can be seen near the cars, one of whom is wearing a fluorescent vest.

An ambulance is also seen slowing down as it approaches the accident scene.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force told Stomp that it was alerted to the incident at 12.47pm and dispatched two ambulances to the scene.

Four people were sent to Changi General Hospital.

The Police said:

"On 9 March 2017 at 12.46pm, the police were alerted to an incident involving three taxis along East Coast Parkway towards the city.

"Four people, aged between 45 and 61 years old, were conscious when they were conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
