Female SGH employee wounded with knife during robbery at Kim Tian Green in Bukit Merah

Stomper Amo came across the aftermath of a robbery that took place at a rooftop garden on Kim Tian Green in Bukit Merah yesterday (Aug 20).

She was at the scene at around 10.30 and sent Stomp photos of what she saw.

The Stomper is unclear what exactly happened, but told Stomp that a female Singapore General Hospital employee was injured by a knife used by the assailant during the robbery.

Amo also heard from bystanders that the assailant is a Malay man.

Said Amo:

"The victim was either slashed or stabbed with a knife.

"By the time I was there she was already sent to the hospital.

"The rooftop garden at Kim Tian Green has always been used as a shortcut for employees working at SGH.

"The lights there are dim and the robber might have taken advantage of it."

Stomp understands that a 37-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident.
