Cyclist injured, taxi ends up on pavement after accident at Gambas Ave

Stomper David saw the aftermath of a collision between a taxi and a cyclist at Gambas Avenue at 2pm today (Nov 5).

The taxi was left on the pavement of a pedestrian crossing after the accident.

Photos the Stomper took show people tending to the cyclist.

"The cyclist was injured in the accident," said David.

The SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at around 11.07am, requesting for assistance at the junction of Gambas Avenue and Woodlands Avenue 9.

"SCDF dispatched one ambulance and conveyed one female Chinese to Khoo Teck Phuat hospital in a conscious state," said an SCDF spokesperson.
