Car knocks over tree and turns turtle at Newton Road

Stomper MPeX was travelling on a bus along Newton Road this afternoon (September 10) when he saw an overturned car.

The accident occurred opposite Newton Life Church and MPeX noted that there was a fallen tree next to the car that the driver may have knocked over.

Said the Stomper:

"There was an ambulance and police on the scene.

"I did not see anybody trapped in the car or injured.

"However, I could see that the vehicle's airbags had been deployed."
