Are unfolded scooters allowed on the train?

Stomper Cecilia was concerned when she saw a man bringing his scooter onto the train during her commute to work this morning (July 19).

She said that after reading the Stomp report of the potential danger a woman knitting on the train poses, she figured that this was even more of a safety hazard.

Said the Stomper:

"This man brought his e-scooter onto the MRT posing a serious safety issue if someone were to trip and fall in the crowded train.

"SMRT staff should check and request the guy to fold his scooter if not, warn him not to bring in a non-folding scooter."
