Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is offering S$1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of suspects after three mynahs were found tied up with strings in the River Valley area.
The first bird was found on Jan 25 at Block 78, along Indus Road, reports Coconut Singapore.
It’s feet and neck were tied with multiple strings, while three other strings were attached to its legs.
Unfortunately, the bird did not survive.
On Jan 28, another two mynahs were found, their legs bound together in a toilet at Delta House, along Alexandra Road.
Members of a Buddhist mediation group found the birds and removed the strings, saving the two birds.
