Shoppers taken off guard by 'surprise shower' inside shopping mall

Stomper Wilson was at Jem shopping mall in Jurong East yesterday evening (Jun 13) when he saw water pouring from the ceiling.

The water appeared to be flowing from above the Esprit store and started at about 8.57pm.

"People were caught off guard by the sudden flow of water," said Wilson.

"The store workers quickly went to bring in their shop signs."

"There was also a sewage smell so I didn't stay long to see what happened after that."
