Pillion rider lies on road after bike collides with car on BKE

Stomper Guppy was driving along the Bukit Timah Expressway today (May 18) at around 7.05am when he witnessed an accident involving a motorcycle and a car, which left the pillion rider injured.

In the video the Stomper contributed, a black car can be seen changing lanes when a motorcycle suddenly crashes into the vehicle's rear bumper.

Said the Stomper:

"The motorcyclist couldn't stop in time and he rammed into the car.

"I stopped immediately to render assistance. The woman was injured and lying on the ground.

"The driver of the vehicle that got hit called an ambulance."

A spokesperson from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that they were alerted to the incident at around 7.20am and an ambulance conveyed a woman in her thirties to Ng Teng Fong Hospital.
