Pigeon left to die after being allegedly run over on path along Kallang River

Stomper Chor Mui found a pigeon she believed had been run over by a bicycle or e-scooter near the Kallang River, under Merdeka Bridge yesterday (Mar 11) at around 6.20pm.

She told Stomp that she found it bleeding from its neck when she saw it in the middle of the path.

"There were feathers scattered everywhere," she said.

"The horrible person didn't even bother to pick the poor bird up nor check on it.

"When I came back 30 minutes later, someone had moved it to the grass patch."
