Mr Mark Kok Wah, 46, and his wife Ariess Tan, 43 were devastated when they received the news two years ago that their 18-year-old daughter, Carmen Mark had died.
The Nanyang Polytechnic nursing student had suffered an arterial rupture in her brain.
Her organs saved four lives.
Carmen's parents, who are Malaysian and live in Penang, recently heard from the woman who received their daughter's heart.
Ms Serene Lee, 37, reached out to Mr Mark on Facebook on Aug 4 this year, asking if she could visit them.
She had tracked down the couple after reading about Carmen's death in The Straits Times.
