While many of us might be guilty of illegally downloading movies online, a group of Ngee Ann Polytechnic students are helping to combat piracy through a creative initiative.

As part of their campaign, the students also gave out many freebies for everyone else such as Stomper Ethan to enjoy.

Ethan said:

"Ngee Ann Polytechnic students were spotted walking around various polytechnics to share their love of movies with Ribena.

"As part of their final project, I was able to meet some Ngee Ann students around my campus in Nanyang Polytechnic.

"As extremely enthusiastic students, they shared with me their campaign on anti-piracy and the negative effects of what piracy can do to the film industry.

"As a film lover myself, I felt that their cause was great and it was nice to see people care about such a topic.

"With every pledge they got, they gave out free drinks such as Ribena and Lucozade for anyone to enjoy. Even our Koufu aunties were in on the fun!

"They are even giving away free Universal Studios tickets through their social media page and are organising a free movie screening on Aug 6 at Dempsey Hill.

"You can join the event with your family and friends, and there will be free food and games to play!

"Make sure to follow them on Revibe It on Instagram and Facebook to join in on the fun."
