The National Environment Agency (NEA) is investigating an incident where curry was allegedly dumped by a wedding caterer into Tampines River.
In a previous Stomp report, Facebook user Shirley Tan had posted a photo of what appears to be curry in Tampines River.
She alleged that a wedding caterer had dumped the curry into Tampines River, next to Block 408.
Her post went viral, sparking outcry from netizens, before it was later taken down.
NEA said in response to queries from Stomp that they received reports on Feb 4 on a "substance resembling curry" being disposed in Sungei Tampines.
Both NEA and Public Utilities Board (PUB) officers went down to the site immediately.
NEA is currently investigating the alleged incident.
