Murder at St James: 35-year-old man dead with suspected stab wounds to head and back

A 35-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his head and back near a nightspot at St James Power Station yesterday (Mar 12) at around 6am.

He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 6.45am.

Stomper Tay alerted Stomp to the fatal incident and said that the victim, identified as Mr Sateesh Kumar, had been involved in an argument with the club's security staff earlier that night.

According to the Police, two men -- one of whom is the deceased -- were found injured at the scene and sent to Singapore General Hospital.

The other man, who is aged 28, sustained injuries to his head and has been warded for treatment, reported The Straits Times.

The case has been classified as murder and police investigations are ongoing.
