Monitor lizard out on the prowl at Ang Mo Kio canal

If you pass by the canal beside the TechPoint building in Ang Mo Kio recently, you might be greeted by a four-legged resident in the area.

Stomper Gautham spotted a monitor lizard there yesterday (May 23) at around 4pm.

She filmed a video of the reptile that showed it taking a walk in the dried up canal.

"It was just crawling around," said Gautham.
