A Mercedes-Benz and a taxi got into an accident along East Coast Parkway today (Nov 8) at around 5am, causing the Merc to flip over and land among potted plants that were in the centre divider of the expressway.

Stomper Cheers shared photos taken at the scene of the accident that have been circulating on social media.

In the photos, plant pots and pieces of debris were scattered on the road.

A man was seen exiting the upside-down car and some liquid that appears to be blood was splattered on the ground.

In response to Stomp media queries, a police spokesman said that they were alerted to the accident along ECP towards Changi Airport at 5.19am.
